Once upon a time (1977)

There were a LOT of people (e.g. "men") who wanted to identify with Bruce Jenner. He became an icon of 'the winning man.'

I suspect a lot of jocks are closeted gays but I am hardly going to go out and do a survey of jocks (or catholic priests)...

Throughout history, 10% to 20% of the population has been homosexual. That 15% +/- 2.5% is a normal condition - normalized except for the backward thinking of feudalists.

So, besides HOMO... add evolution and the bible thumpers go into arrhythmia.

So, from 1976 to 2015, things have changed.

"The Greek word "homoioma" [likeness] plays an important role in... expressing both the "divinity" and the humanity of the Son of God."

Bible thumping MEN want to be more god-like than goddess-like.

As for Hermaphroditos, (The Sleeping Hermaphrodite), Roman, A.D. 100–200, let's not go there.

The gods made man(kind) in their own images and our limitations are perceptive.

So what Bruce Jenner succeeded in doing is this: he woke up a few of the sleeping.

It's just another work of (performance) art collecting its finishing touches.
